There's a global trend away from alcohol.
Yes, even in Finland! In 2025, 29% of Finnish 18-24 year olds reported that they don't drink alcohol at all, while a further 59% drink less than once a week. In 2025, Finns bought 457,3 million soft drinks, and only 328.8 million beers and ciders--a complete reversal from how things were ten years ago. All signs point toward alcohol sales continuing to drop, and soft drinks continuing to rise.People are learning that they don't need to get drunk to have a good time.

Strawberry-rose seltzer. Grapefruit soda blended with silky coconut cream. In fact, we have every flavor you've never even dreamed of, mixed by a friendly barista right before your eyes. With 42 flavors to mix and match, the possibilities are limitless. And unlike other 'mocktails' you may have had, there are no expensive de-alcoholized spirits in our sodas--which lets us charge you less for each drink. Why should something with no alcohol still cost as much as a cocktail? Spoiler: it shouldn't!Join us for 2-euro shots with no hangover!

Live jazz in somebody’s living room, where you sit among the musicians as if they’re your friends—and by the end of the night, they will be. Game night in a fantasy-ready medieval tavern, with a band of medieval bards setting the mood. Speed dating events for various age groups. Folk dance events for young and old alike—sometimes in the forest under the midnight sun. Phone-free parties for people who want a break from their devices—check your smartphone at the door! And, of course, concerts of every kind, from afrobeats to baroque pop to math rock.With no fixed venue (at least for now), we go wherever fits the vibes best—and keep our fixed costs low.

Keryx was founded at UniArts Helsinki's business incubator hub in May 2026, by a music business student from the USA. Since Keryx owns the events, the ticketing, and the drinks—no middlemen—we have a lot more profit potential than a traditional event promoter. Our UniArts network gives us amazing access to talented artists and performers of every kind, from all over the world. We have delicious recipes and innovative event plans ready to go.What we don't have—YET—is commercial-grade equipment, decades of business experience, or anybody with knowledge of the Finnish food and beverage industry.But you can help change that!

I'm an American musician and band manager studying a master's degree in music business at the globally-renowned Sibelius Academy. I have worked at events ranging from birthday parties to celebrity weddings to the Sundance Film Festival. Never in my life has any event I've run been called boring.
